The “AP Lenovo DaaS Quiz” contest (the “Contest”) is organized by Lenovo Korea (herein also referred to as the “Sponsor” or “Lenovo”).

No Purchase Necessary to Enter. A purchase will not (and cannot) increase your chances of winning. By agreeing to the above, you, the participant, have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions (“Rules”).

• Eligibility: This Contest is open only to South Korea. Current employees, officers, directors and agents of Sponsor and its affiliates and members of their immediate families (defined as spouse, parents, siblings and children) and persons residing at the same address are not eligible to win. Void where prohibited.
• Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, you agree to accept the decisions of Lenovo as final and binding as it relates to the content of this Contest.
• Contest Period: Entries will be accepted online starting 24 May 2021 on and ending 13 June 2021 (“Entry Period”). All online entries must be received by 13 June 2021.
• How to Enter: The Contest must be entered by submitting all requested information in the entry form,and answering all 5 questions correctly in the online quiz provided, at https://lenovoap.outgrow.us/kr_LenovoDaaS. The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Lenovo. Limit one (1) entry per person. Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter more than once per person, and any use of pen names, nicknames, pseudonyms, as well as any use of multiple email address shall be deemed as tampering and will void all of your entries. All entries containing an erroneous phone and/or email address or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Rules may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsor.
• Prizes: On or about 30 June 2021, 3 winner(s) of the Contest (each, a “Winner”) will each be awarded one Lenovo USB-C Mini Dock (“Prize”). Prize does not include any wireless plan or service. Only the prizes specified in the numbers indicated will be awarded. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Lenovo’s discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component of equal or greater value should a prize or any component of a prize become unavailable. The prize is non-transferable, with no cash redemption or equivalent. Except as specifically provided herein, any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation, insurance, personal expenses, incidental charges, or any other items not specifically described in these Terms and Conditions are the sole responsibility of Winner. Any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. If required by law, Sponsor or its agents shall require payment from winner of taxes to be remitted to the appropriate taxing authorities. Sponsor expressly disclaims any responsibility or liability for injury or loss to any person or property relating to the delivery and/or subsequent use of prizes awarded. Sponsor makes no representation or warranties concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Lenovo to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

• Winner Selection and Notification:At 11.59PM (KR Time) on 13 June 2021, the Entry Period will be closed in its entirety. On or about 30 June 2021, Sponsor will randomly select 3 potential Winner(s) from among all eligible Contest entries received during the Entry Period with all five questions answered correctly.

  Winners will be notified by Email within 7 business days following selection of Winners. Lenovo shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. Potential Winner may be asked to verify eligibility and sign a Release & Waiver of Liability. Verification must be completed within 14 days of the potential Winner notification. Upon confirming verification, prize will be shipped to confirmed winners. Allow five (5) business days for receipt or arrangement of receipt of prize. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 30 days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Contest is conditioned upon compliance with applicable laws. Limit one prize per person. Note: You are not a winner of any prize until you have been verified as a winner by Lenovo. Decisions of Sponsor are final in all matters relating to this Contest.

  No artificial intelligence will be used in the selection process.

• Rights Granted by You: By entering content (e.g., photo, video, text, etc.) in the Contest, You understand and agree that Lenovo, anyone acting on behalf of Lenovo, and Lenovo licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the world, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Contest, and biographical information for all legitimate business purposes, including news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes, without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

• Warranties; Indemnity: By entering this Contest, you represent and warrant that (i) your entry is an original work of authorship and does not violate any third party’s rights, including but not limited to proprietary, intellectual property, publicity or portrait rights; and (ii) your entry does not include any content that (a) is libellous or defamatory; (b) is profane, obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit; (c) degrades others on the basis of gender, race, class, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual preference, disability, or other classification; (e) is discriminatory, derogatory, predatory, hateful, or intended to intimidate or harass; (f) contains or advocates illegal, unlawful or violent acts; or (g) otherwise violates any local, state, or national law, rule or regulation. Entries that will be disqualified at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If your entry contains such content, infringes upon any rights of another, or is otherwise objectionable, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Lenovo and You shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Contest Parties (as defined below) and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, representatives, agents and employees from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense of any kind, which Contest Parties may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of or in connection with the content of Your entry, including any infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s rights.

  Further, by submitting an entry, You acknowledge and agree that Sponsor may obtain many entries in connection with this Contest and/or other contests or promotions staged and/or promoted by the Sponsor or may produce materials similar to such entries, and that such entries may be similar or identical in theme, idea, format or other respects to other entries submitted in connection with this Contest. You hereby waive any and all claims You may have had, may have, and/or may have in the future, that any entry and/or other works accepted, reviewed and/or used may be similar to his/her entry, or that any compensation is due to You in connection with such entry or other works used by Sponsor.

• Termination and Disqualification: Lenovo reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Lenovo control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such case, Lenovo may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Lenovo. Lenovo reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Lenovo has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Contest, to void votes for reasonable reasons, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Contest rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have complied with all of the conditions contained in these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, stolen, illegible or incomplete entries, or for any computer, online, telephone or technical malfunctions that may occur. Contest Parties are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. Contest Parties assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Contest Parties are not responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing. Contest Parties are not responsible for any injury or damage to participants or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest. Sponsor reserves the right to correct any typographical, printing, computer programming or operator errors.
• Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, by entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Lenovo and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors (collectively, “Contest Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
• Disputes: This Contest IS GOVERNED UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA. As a condition of participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in South Korea having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Contest). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
• Privacy Policy: By participating in this Contest, you agree to Sponsor’s use of your personal information for both online and offline direct marketing purposes. Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Lenovo Global Privacy Policy stated on the Lenovo website. You may review Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.lenovo.com/privacy.
• Data Erasure: We do not hold your personal information for longer than is necessary; when we no longer have any use for your data, your data is deleted. User accounts, email addresses on our email lists, and related necessary information (First name, Last name, Email address, etc.) can be deleted upon request, under the understanding that this may affect the quality of future service received, experience of our sites, products and services, and ability for you to correctly access or otherwise receive our sites, products and services. You can request any accounts you hold with us to be deleted by contact us at [email protected].
